Australian Model News is a free publication edited and published in Melbourne (Australia) by John Lamont. Since its inception in 2010 AMN has evolved from being a small Victorian oriented publication, centred on R/C scale aircraft modelling, to a national publication with some international content and covering all facets of aeromodelling. This (US based) site is great for tips and info on all of your favourite kits, plans and designers. A 'pay for membership' site but probably the most useful site on the net for scale builders and flyers. Price is $20 US per year, $150 US for lifetime membership.

Most recognised sports have an international, world wide administrating body & aeromodelling is no exemption. Ours is the FAI - Fédération Aéronautique Internationale. All the rules for the internationally recognised competition classes for model aircraft can be found here.
