​Charles Kingsford Smith Model Aircraft Club Inc. is an M.A.A.A.
affiliated club flying amongst the turf fields in the picturesque Hawkesbury area west of Sydney, Australia.

Members arrived at the field last Sunday to quite a bit of rubbish spread across the field. It seems someone attempted to tape a rubbish bag to one of the benches but it blew away & came open. Thankfully that member chased up the rubbish & took it away for disposal.
Whilst this was obviously a bag of rubbish that was somehow forgotten please ensure that any rubbish that may be generated on a flying day be taken home & disposed of in your own bins. The club provides no rubbish bins at our flying site as there is no rubbish removal service available at our actual flying site away from Pitt Town Bottoms Road.

Scheduled Field Closures 2026.
CKSMAC hosts several events each year for special interest groups.
Please note the revised date for the May Pylon Racing event.
For 2026 these events are:​

31st of May - Pylon Racing.
30th of August - Pylon Racing.
​
In addition CKSMAC will be running it's own Large Scale Racing event on the weekend of the 18th & 19th of April.

Of course, CKSMAC members are welcome to attend or enter if they have appropriate models.
